4. Double-edged sword

They are assuming Mueller will have information that damages Trump. What if Mueller exonerates him this far out from the election? He'll be bragging about being cleared every day for the next year and a half.

... Trump will simply claim it clears him anyway

it may be a double-edged sword but it behooves us to grasp it by the hilt regardless.
