State attorney's office refutes ESPN report that there's a bigger name than Robert Kraft in prostitu

ESPN reporter Adam Schefter raised a few eyebrows Friday after suggesting there might be a name bigger than New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft in a Miami prostitution bust. That quote immediately gained traction, particularly because there aren’t many names bigger than Kraft in the NFL.

Problem is, the state attorney’s office spokesperson Mike Edmondson has no idea what Schefter is talking about, according to Deadspin.

Deadspin asked Edmondson about a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter saying he’d been “told that Robert Kraft is not the biggest name involved down there in South Florida.” Edmondson responded: “Nobody around here has any idea what [Schefter] is referring to.”

Deadspin also outlined what will happen next in the case. As of right now, police have filed charges, but the state attorney’s office has yet to issue them. Once issued, the warrant for Kraft would be non-extraditable, meaning the warrant is only enforceable in Florida.

The Patriots have denied any wrongdoing by Kraft, saying they don’t believe he engaged in “any illegal activity.” There is reportedly video of Kraft inside the massage parlor.

what metric is one using -- Net worth? Name recognition? Political office? Twitter followers? Military rank? Academic degree?

To a lot of people who don't follow football AT ALL (and yes those people exist even if I'm not one of them), the name Robert Kraft means next to nothing. As in: "Did he invent cheese slices or something?"
