(17,442 posts)Edit to add: A TFR has moved them out of the immediate area, so the feed isn't much any more.
They've terminated the feed. None of it is up on the website now. Perhaps they'll put some clips up.

(17,442 posts)Just a bunch of small debris floating in what looked like shallow water. A Coast Guard chopper was hovering and moving slowly along the debris field.

(16,382 posts)I did not hear the weather conditions at the time, although it looked relatively mild on the ground, maybe just a touch windy.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,369 posts)Tragic. Utterly so.
This reminds me of the ValueJet flight 592 crash back in 1996. The similarities of the crash are remarkable.
That aircraft had a fire in the hold that propagated up through the floor of the cockpit. The horror of the final moments for the crew and passengers must have been unbelievable
Something equally as catastrophic and fast happened with this cargo plane, I suspect.
They drove it nose first into a swamp. There won't be much left at all.
I'm not a religious man by any means, but may those crew rest in peace and have forever fair skies and a following wind.
