When the total cost of the damage from Trump is added up.

It will shock the American people. It is sometimes easy to forget that trump has only been in office two years. It seems like a lifetime.

A lot of the damage done has not shown itself yet. It takes time for all the results of corruption, incompetence to show itself. Everyday Trump is in office the cost goes up.

The total cost could be life changing for all of us. I have said this before, the American people made one of the biggest, foolish, mistakes in our history when they elected Trump. When you do something this insane you don't get to walk away without paying some serious dues. Life does not work that way.

Putin will be laughing..
Using very little treasure and NO blood of young russian troops he managed to mess with us. Not so much blood but a huge expense of our treasure.. The cost to him for stirring the shit in the US and creating havoc is minimal... fucker..

Democrats didn't vote Trump into office, the Republicans did. Dems are unlikely to be shocked (OK, maybe appalled) because we read about Trump's horror show everyday. Republicans, on the other hand, simply do not care what their monster destroys because, gosh darn it, they won.

Trump is the culmination of larger, long term forces seeking to undermine our system. We were asleep at the wheel as these forces gathered. We only woke up after he was elected. Those forces will still be there after he is gone, but at least now we are awake.

The country was going to be dramatically different now, and for the worse... much worse. I felt sick to my stomach for a week.

The second, possibly more powerful revelation was that the small town folks in fly over country who many thought represented the best of America, really represent the worst America has to offer.

Their willingness to vote for a man who thinks it's fine to assault women, cheat bankers, investors, suppliers, and who is also a major bigot whose primary interest is in himself shocked me to my core.

I will never look at small town America the same again. Their values are nothing to aspire to. Their innate racism and lack of awareness of what's really causing their economic issues is something they should be ashamed of.

There are two America's, but not D's and R's. Americans are either aware or unaware. The unaware are blindly sleeping through their lives, allowing the latest Fox News or other conservative whack job to tell them what to think. They are as responsible as Trump. A pox on all their houses.
