FBI set precedent by turning HRC case files over to Congress

Speaking with Mike Allen, Matt Miller, a former Justice Department official under Obama who now works as a legal analyst for MSNBC, said that Mueller’s files will contain a treasure trove of information.

“[It’s] not just the Mueller report, whatever that is, that’s relevant. It’s also all the underlying evidence he collected,” Miller explained.

Referring to an FBI investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that turned up no criminality, Miller stated, “[The] FBI set a precedent in the Clinton case by turning over nearly the entire case file to Congress within three months of the investigation closing.”

“Now that that precedent has been set, [there’s] no good argument for not doing so here,” he added.

They play by the rule of "If it's good for Republicans it's okay." That's why Comey turned over the Hillary files. There's no reason to think the Trump files will be turned over without a major fight.
