Is Muller a bureaucrat or a patriot?

If it is true that Muller will issue a report next week, or a synopsis of his report (who knows?), will Muller be compliant to the rules or will he break out to save the Nation by releasing the report to Congress and the American people? Or will he only release the report to the AG, like a good little bureaucrat? IMO Muller will protect the USA against the trump cabal.

I prefer my rules unbent.

If the rules don't work well that way, then work for new rules.

to find out when the report is released? That is what I want to know. Can we trust Muller to be strong enough to stand up to the institutional forces and those in power who support trump? I believe he can, maybe not by indicting trump (wish Justice Dept would), but by getting the report out in full to Congress and American's. That's all I am requesting.

We have the right to transparency until that transparency interferes with national security.

Like you, I also want the report to be made public, but breaking the rules and releasing the document could jeopardize the findings. Calling Mueller a bureaucrat for failing to bend or break the rules diminishes the man. These days people who call themselves patriots are usually Trump supporters.

Your question was confusing for me.

The report is in almost every court filing along the way.

The summary conclusions are what's missing. I don't see how those could possibly be redacted.

But he's not close to done. This will be *a* report, not the final report, IMO.

The media is reporting that Mueller will give the report to Barr ... questionable at best, bureaucratic at the most ... not questionable if he releases the full report to Congress and the American people

The rise of bureaucratic administration in the 19th century was a reform under which governmental decisions are made on the basis of rules instead of being made on the basis of privilege and favors. You cannot favor the rule of law and oppose bureaucracy and bureaucrats.

"Bureaucrat" has unfairly become a pejorative.

His combat service in Vietnam, which he could avoided answers the your second question without even considering his following service.
