The filibuster is now a one sided weapon

The GOP cares about four things 1) cutting taxes for the rich, 2) staffing government with right wing kooks, 3) removing regulations put in by Democrats, and 4) increasing defense spending. The first 3 are now immune from filibusters while the last one has never been successfully filibustered. The GOP pretty much doesn't care about legislating at the federal level other than on taxes. On the other hand we can't pass union card check, immigration reform, civil rights for LGBTQ people, voting rights act amendments, or pretty much anything else even if we do win in 2020 thanks to the filibuster.

eliminate the filibuster altogether. Even if we Dems had the magic 60 seats you can bet your bippy that Blue Dogs like Joe Manchin would vote with the GOP to stop the filibuster so it's effectively useless.

You don’t like poverty? Tough.

They forget that welfare was created in part to prevent a revolution.

I really do think that indivisible has got the best plan for us to impact our legislators, no matter what party they belong to
