1. I don't like Bezos.

He's a greedy one. He has an obscene amount of wealth all at the expense of his workers and the people who sell on his site. I got rid of Prime because I can't support that amount of wealth hoarding.

So many people have been displaced in Seattle because of his headquarters and bringing in the really high paid people from elsewhere, which had housing and rent prices skyrocketing. I saw shabbily dressed people at the USPS with petitions so Bezos and other like him wouldn't have to pay taxes or contribute even an iota back into the communities their businesses benefitted from and pretty much drained of resources. NYC dodged a bullet.

2. I lived it

My very comfortable, livable, walkable neighborhood of Ballard has become the exact opposite. Homelessness has exploded. My friends who are still there tell me I left at the right time (4 years ago).
