We figured we could call it pre-Valentine's Day Dinner.
We barely found parking. All the restaurants were full. I can't imagine the crowds tomorrow night - damn. The food was great.

(269,103 posts)The real fun was when the servers brought out a birthday cake for a young lady at the table next to ours. Other servers began singing and most of the folks at the restaurant joined in.
I discovered Galentine Day on DU today

(29,686 posts)I had cashew crusted salmon with sweet ginger sauce and my love of 39 years had spicy bites.... one of our favorite restaurants and before TOMORROWs rush we just had the best Valentines Day dinner.

Your meal sound great and yes we beat the crowd. More and more folks are trying to avoid the crush tomorrow night
