Just saw on Wikipedia that Lyndon LaRouche died yesterday at 96. Haven't been able to find a news story to confirm. Can someone with better Google-fu find a confirmation?

Lyndon LaRouche, Cult Figure Who Ran for President 8 Times, Dies at 96
Obviously since it is the New York Times, you can be certain he is alive.

(12,344 posts)Appropriate for a conspiracy theorist. How do we know his death isn't being covered up?

Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., philosopher, scientist, poet, statesman, economist, died on Tuesday, February 12, at the age of 96. It was Lincolns birthday, an American President Lyndon LaRouche loved and celebrated in his writings.
Those who knew and loved Lyndon LaRouche know that humanity has suffered a great loss and, today, we dedicate ourselves anew to bring to reality the big ideas for which history will honor him. For those who did not know him or have only recently come to his ideas, there is no better guide to this unique personality than LaRouche himself. Here is how he spoke about life here on earth in a speech at a conference in 1988, in the midst of a political prosecution similar, in striking respects, to that which we encounter against an American president in the United States today: (and then there's an hour and a half video of Lyndon gassing on and on and on.)
Now the next video made look to be sure this wasn't some sort of joke:
Excerpt from LaRouche's keynote from the Jan. 19 2004 Martin Luther King Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by the Talladega County (Alabama) Democratic Conference.
Hard to tell what his concern is, isn't it?

(24,376 posts)It was the word or words right after he says "As Coroner...."
So finally.....
Voila'!
"As Coroner, I must aver,
I thoroughly examined her,
Not only is she merely dead,
She's really most sincerely dead."
Gotta love the hat. Nothing says "I examine dead people" like a hat with a brim curled on the sides.
