Milwaukee, as you know, is a blue collar city and that means a lot of factory and mill jobs along with truck drivers, rail workers and longshoremen. They probably didn't go to college and their primary group of people exist at work and the bar or some sports activity. There's not a lot of interest in expanding their views because anything outside their little groupthink situation is too much for them ...because they don't understand the rest of the world. Spent some time there as a blue collar worker myself back in the day.

I might pity them. For those of us with an actual intellect you take the facts given and change your worldview. Obviously, this asshole has no intellect. His deepest thoughts consist of "hmm. Burgers or pizza for lunch." And because he's a white male, he gets to enjoy all the priveledge that that entails. He's never had to think deeply. He gets to go through life worrying about whether or not the fucking Brewers are going to do well this season. Whether or not his local liquor store will have his favorite microbrew in stock. America has always had his back. So FOX news makes sense. Rush Limbaugh makes sense.

Critical thinking has never been a strong suit for him, because it wasn't necessary. He's had the luxury of coasting through life never worrying about the police gunning him down. Whether he could land a job. Rape. Sexual harassment. These things don't occur to him. That's the way it is. I'm a white male. I know. I don't have to worry about that shit either. But, I was taught empathy from a young age thank Christ. Obviously this guy wasn't. Now, he's feeling the competition that he never thought he'd have to worry about. And it scares him. And the lies he's been told aren't holding up to the real world. It's terrifying. I get it. But rather than accepting the world for what it is and changing his worldview. He doubles down on fantasy and lashes out at reality.

Unfortunately, we're going to be seeing this for 10 or 15 years as white male Amerikkka goes through it's death throes. And, people are going to get hurt. People are going to die. There's no escaping that fact. But it's my belief, that we come out stronger on the other side.
