I feel like I've been angry and worse everyday since November 2016.

I know I am not spreading light and fairydust.

So I am very grateful for the hearts since it shows that you are able to see value beyond the anger that I am displaying.

I wasn't like this before that election.

Thank you for tolerating me.

We aren't all ourselves these days. For instance, I never used to swear like a drunken sailor before Trump won the election, but now I can't seem to help myself.

Don't worry about it! We still love you!

I've been doing it too smirky. I call it TSD (tRump Stress Disorder) he is a plague to us all and our country.

Again, we have the power, we need to band together and we will get through this. We need to fight back.

I can't say that I didn't swear before so I dont' have that symptom
I take some comfort in that swearing is actually healthy...so maybe the swearing regime is doing your body and mind some good.

But raising my voice and nightmares are new to me.

We must all tolerate, and even love, each other right now.

This is hard to take. You are not alone.

I guess I'm a CTyankee also at least based on birth.

Its very difficult for me to love the loudmouth Trumpers.
And while I've previously been able to easily forgive...I'm not sure how I will be able to marshall foregiveness for those who have willingly created this horrendous situation.

But I will work on it.

I appreciate your comfort.

and it changes brain structure in children and affects adults as well. We are living an experiment in living under constant stress and pressure. I too feel like I'm falling apart.

it somehow feels good to be able to put a name on it.
I hadn't heard of toxic stress before

I appreciate your kind words. And I wish you the strength to deal with this and the ability to find some peace in your mind so heal.

and so I did a lot of researching. I didn't file my columns in a way I can find topics and I keep forgetting to put them in my journal. Maybe I'll have a day where I organize my work.

Toxic stress can actually change children's brains.

Take care of yourself too. I hope we all make it out of this in one piece.

I'm sorry if you too are also dealing as poorly as I am.

Wishing for all of our stakes that this nightmare comes to a speedy conclusion.

Unfortunately I see this situation as them being suicide bombers...so i'm not comforted by their destruction

Though of course I can see the humor/irony is their statements and actions.

Be well and I appreciate help.
