I think I know what Trump wants from Saudi Aabia.

SA is building a gianormous "Artificial" city, NEOM. 5 times size of NYC, using only renewable energy, lots of other "good" features like that.
Looking for massive amounts of global investment.

Couple of problems tho. they want to build it on/near Mt. Sinai, and investors are dropping away b/c Khashoggi.

Of course bad PR never bothered Trump, the global salesman, he just lies and glosses right over it.
A project this size it is a realtor's wet dream, but his reputation is going down the tubes, the trump name
has lost its value.
No way the Moscow project even comes close to the scale of NEOM. Be a real shame if he missed out on it,

there's lots of opportunity for the grifter to slap his name on some hotels.
I read this article a few months back, and that was my first thought:

https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/20/middleeast/saudi-archaeology/index.html

(actually, it was my second thought. My first thought was about women tourists and how that's all gonna work out. The sites sound amazing but I would have huge reservations about visiting.)

SA is eager to move on an up with the rest of the world, and has watch Qatar and other Middle east countries benefit form various forms of non-oil investments, they are quite comfortable dealing with wealthy globe trotters, and are aiming for that group of spenders.
Have to give them credit for seeing a vision of progress and energy not based on carbon.

Who wants to live where you cannot drink beer or wine let alone harder booze?

Who wants to live where women have to wear a hijab and have to be accompanied by a man?
