West Wing vs. The Wire, Which is better?

I have to go with The Wire, I can't remember more complex characters on TV. I was upset for I'd say 3 days when Bodie was killed.

Seasons 1 through 4 of West Wing were awesome. It went a little downhill after that. And I do also love West Wing.

But The Wire wins for me.

Walton Goggins is the shit... And he is even better in Justified. His scenes with Timothy Olyphant are not to be missed.

West Wing was transformative, Aaron Sorkin warmed up with The American President and hit a home run with The West Wing, when he left and Larry Mc Donald turned it into right-wing dreck, we gave up on television all together.
