How would you look for information to verify or counter Rep. Omar's assertion about AIPAC?

I recall a conversation with one of our own US Representatives, no longer serving, who said that as soon as he got to DC, he was immediately invited on trips by AIPAC to Israel. His impression was very clear that they held a lot of sway and could not publicly be challenged without consequences.

I went first to Fundrace.org and see it hasn’t been updated since 2004.

Next I went to Opensecrets.org.

What tools do you use to find out who is funding candidates now?

But some of their members do so I guess if you want to dig, that's where you can start.

John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, two top notch experts. I think they had a magazine article which is online. It was controversial. It was in effect an attack on the alleged excessive influence of AIPAC. I found it persuasive.
