Say what y'all want, but if Michelle Obama has a change of heart...

...she's probably as close to a sure thing as there is on the Democratic side of the aisle. She just has a presence, and I would love, love, love to see her debate DT. I think she'd probably mop the proverbial floor with his ass, and then buff it out with that wig.

Now imagine that grace, elegance, and class contrasted with Trump's smug, ginger raccoon, cheeto face smirking every time she calls him out on one of his plethora of lies. It would be a landslide of epic proportions.

without a doubt.

But I don't know how likely it is that she reconsiders. Maybe for 2024? I'd like to see Barack Obama as the ground-breaking First Husband as well!

We just listened to her reading her book (got the CDs from the library). She is a treasure of a human being, and my belief is that she can do much more good where she is and I am sure as she moves beyond.

That family has been through quite enough....it is THEIR time now.

....don't lose perspective. We had a very, very suspect candidate with tons and baggage, and she still only lost the election by 80K votes spread across 3 states, and if not for DWS putting her toe on the scale for Clinton, we would likely be talking about President Sanders. "This environment" is very, very overstated. Her kids are about out of the house. Perhaps she finds herself in the fighting mood at some point in the not-too-distant future.

But think about this for a moment. Obama, as good as a debater and orator as he is, got his clock cleaned by Romney in the first debate. There is a jinx of sorts when it comes to the incumbent and debates. They never do well. Trump, against Harris, Warren, Booker, Klobuchar, Castro, etc will be eviscerated. His base, the 30% you mention, of course will say he won. But the moderate center will see him for what he is. I would even argue, based on his poll numbers, they are already seeing him for what he is.

She would be an excellent president. Our country needs a moral compass again.

She would have to leave the WH windows open for a month to get the stink out.
