MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski mocked President Donald Trump, and said one of the women hoping to challenge him for the White House next year had already shown she was much tougher.

The “Morning Joe” co-host said Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) had already proved her mettle by announcing her bid for the presidency in a snowstorm.

“She put out a visual there,” Brzezinski said. “I don’t know if everyone completely got it this way, but looking at her standing in subzero temperatures with the snow blowing down on her face and everyone freezing but wanting to be there for her, Donald Trump would no sooner stand in a snowstorm with his bone spurs getting cold than he would enlist at some point in his life and serve his country. “

Host Joe Scarborough reminded viewers that Trump had skipped an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I because of drizzle, and Brzezinski poured on more ridicule.

In case anyone is interested in what the exact weather conditions were.

That said, the snowfall was impressive, and +7 deg windchill is pretty damn cold without a hat/cap/head covering of some sort. I've lived in Minnesota for 40 years and jog in this stuff regularly.

Now that I live in seasonal snow conditions, I can see more of what snow does. He spends his outdoor time on sunny golf courses riding shaded golf carts and balmy Mar-a-Lago. At OUR White House he’s indoors or sheltered under umbrellas held by servants. In New York he’s indoors all the time. He’d melt like the Wicked Witch of the West under conditions that Amy Klobuchar is used to going outside and PLAYING IN.

I wouldn't have been wearing gloves if the snow blower handles weren't metal. I was out blowing snow in a wind break (over a sweater) and a ball cap. It was a nice winter day, but apparently that upset people all over the nation that it is possible to be outdoors in winter...

It was beautiful, light fluffy snow coming down gently, not much wind... I've seen a lot worse.
