I think Beto has hit upon something big for the campaign season. Hold dueling rallies wherever

Trump holds his rallies or even after Trum[ gives a major speech. That way there can be a rapid, real-time response to his lies and more people will hear the truth as the media will be forced to cover both sides on the same day.

Too much of Trump rallies are filled with unrefuted lies and the media fact-checking is done almost in a vacuum. Live coverage of dueling rallies will at least force the media to cover both sides in real time. The counter ralley should take place an hour or so after Trump stumps with his lies.

Each in his or her own style. Does this coat make me look fat? Can I fit through the crack in the wall, we know he can't? The caravans are folks coming to take jobs at Trump properties. Maybe Mar a Lago needs a sea wall. Just keep them coming and make them funny.

be a nice touch. We should be keeping the memory of that miserable, cowardly display alive at every opportunity. Every time he calls Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" she should call him the "Helsinki Coward". I bet it would infuriate him if that story was to make its way back into the election news cycle.

I'd bet on him hiring tons of actors - he always hires some, even did for his Inauguration. Think it's really funny that we found out about his hiring 500 people (think that was the #) per event yell, scream and wave signs per when he hadn't paid them after 90 days and they filed suit.

What a fucking asshole in every single way possible.

He doesn't want it back in the news that his crowd #s are phoney, so will pay at least something. I'd be amazed if he didn't twirl and spin to get the amount reduced though, he has no honor and welshes on all his deals.

since it's in the district he represented. I'm not sure how well that idea will travel to the reddest areas of the reddest states. Still, it's going to take some ingenuity to figure out how to get to a first ballot victory, and it's something he's got, the ability to attract a large crowd.

We cannot let Trump's lies and criminal activity go unchallenged. I want to see Dems very plainly call him a liar and a traitor.

A good tactic would be to say, "I want to stick to the issues, the issues that the people care about, so I won't focus on the fact Trump is a liar and a Russian traitor. I won't mention how every single policy decision he makes appears to be vetted by Putin because I want to talk about wages, the middle class, and the things people care about most."

Some difficulty though is that he usually only does these rallies in red country. Today is going to be different, El Paso didn't go for him in '16 and is of course Beto's home ground. I'm not sure what the purpose of going to El Paso is, but I hope Beto and his supporters show him up.

Any bets on the ratio by which Beto's rally attendance will top Trump's?

Of course, the problem is Trump lies enormously about the numbers at his rally.

Still, I'm betting Beto outdraws Trump by minimum of 5:1.

Of it being reduced to a numbers game on crowd size and enthusiasm. Better be sure of yourself. El Paso probably works but then what?

trail and that hurt her. Trump was doing 2-4 rallies per day, Hillary at several points spent days off the trail and often did no more that two rallies on any day. Trump even had a rally in my county and it was really scary to see how fired up the local goons for him became. No one came to my county from Hillary's campaign.

Trump needs adulation, rallies provide him with that and because of that, he would do ten rallies per day if that was possible. Our candidate must be ready to live on the campaign trail, to the point of exhaustion, that is what President Obama did in 2008 and even did somewhat in 2012.

Beto sees something and I think what he sees is significant and a solid observation.

up so one of them is always having a speech somewhere close to trumps rallies at the same time. Of course they need to go to their own places but if one of them is there before the the rally on another day, while another on the rally day, and some day after it would just BUUURRRNNN trumps big yellow ass.

I know it is not realistic but could you imagine how funny that would be?
