I just roughed out my 2018 income tax return, and it looks like, earning about $7,000 less than last year, my federal tax is about $1,100 more than 2017.

4. There is only a VERY small subset of the middle class that got an actual tax cut.

If you are single with no children and usually have taken the standard deduction in the past, then you will actually see a tax cut. Very small subset, of which I am one.

I rec’d the cut from the marginal rate reduction and the increased standard deduction.

This tax scam is utterly brutal toward middle class families.
