Check out Callisto

https://www.projectcallisto.org/

Callisto, a nonprofit organization that has created software for reporting sexual misconduct on college campuses. The reports are time-stamped and saved on an encrypted database but not immediately submitted to authorities. The software tracks complaints and then flags those that involve a repeat offender, alerting victims and school officials in the process.

By letting a victim know that their assailant has been accused of targeting more than one person, Callisto aims to remove psychological barriers that make reporting assault so difficult, Ladd said. If a victim thinks their assailant may target even more people, she added, that can also be a powerful incentive to take action.

it doesn't create headlines.

It seems to be intended to support investigations.

It’s used as proof that at the time of the attack the victim put it on the record, the same as if she had told her friends or emailed someone about it.

It is kept, without going anywhere, until she decides to accuse the attacher:

https://www.projectcallisto.org/what-we-do

“In 2015, Callisto launched on two college campuses. It has since grown to 13 campuses and supports 149,000 students. Our Callisto Campus product allows student survivors of sexual assault to securely create time-stamped records of their assault, and to only report to their college when they're ready to take action.”

It is also for sexual harassment in the work place:

“In 2018 Callisto expanded our model into professional industry to address sexual assault and sexual coercion in workplace environments. Callisto Expansion connects individuals with a Legal Options Counselor, who will advise victims of their rights and will help them navigate options for taking action.”

There’s more at the link.

creating the evidence trail

encouraging rape victims to report because they can SEE that their attacker is a repeat attacker..so that it is not the victims fault

Too many times the victims won’t tell anyone out of fear or shame. Using Callisto safeguards her privacy while giving the report a time stamp that she can later use. She would be using it as collaboration of the crime anytime in the future.

Dr. Ford’s story about Kavanaugh would have her own time stamped entry as corroboration. The outcome could easily have been very different!
