Bwahahahahahahahaha:
Ann Romney in Charge of Conveying Mitt's Warm and Fuzzy Side
And that's just the headline! But it gets better. So much better:
His biggest problem is that regular voters dont like him as much as Obama. That's especially true of women, and thats why the stakes are high for Ann Romneys speech on the crucial opening night of the convention.
Too bad the speech won't be televised:
The three major television networks -- NBC, ABC, and CBS -- are not airing primetime coverage of the RNC on Monday, the opening night of the convention and the night that Ann Romney has been scheduled to deliver the keynote address.
That better be one hell of a speech if it's going to save Mitt Romney's ass without anyone actually seeing it. As if that weren't enough pressure, the expectations for what Ann's speech is supposed to accomplish couldn't be higher:

(35,709 posts)Yuck, look at this aspect of the "softening" plan:
The use of "tableau" here is on the big screen monitors, I believe. I was nauseated after reading this paragraph, which is from the National Journal article:
The tableau will allow voters to picture a White House overflowing with family warmth, complete with grandchildren frolicking on the lawn. If the Romney campaign can come out of this convention owning the word family, they will have done a lot to make their candidate more empathetic and more likely to win the election, Castellanos said.
So a generation of sons is so much more of a family than two daughters, is that it, Castellanos?

(35,709 posts)She has sharp features and nothing really humanizing about her. There is never a hair out of place, like what made Elizabeth Edwards endearing.
She does stupid stuff like say, "Mitt is not a stick" and then grab him on camera. Mitt responds like a wood totem pole.
I don't think she's got what it takes to do this job.
