For those who watched the Whitaker hearing.. is this at all accurate?

Reading this and watching live posts here, something doesn't connect.

And please...this isn't meant to be concern troll stuff...just seeking opinions of those here on where the truth lies about today.

6. I don't think we gained much from today's hearing, certainly didn't learn anything new.

I’m sure Whittaker pleased trump and all the remaining trump supporters who don’t care what the Prez did.

I hope future hearings go better than this.

Today was kind of like a champion boxer fighting a crummy opponent whose style makes the champion look bad.

8. By such articles, Slate forfeits any claim to objectivity. Using hindsight, could things have been

done in a better way? Possibly. But, Nadler and the Democrats got Whitaker to make statements on the record that may come back to haunt him. Had Nadler subpoenaed him, he would have defied it and avoided testifying at all for many months and only after a protracted legal challeenge.

While they may still face that refusal and that litigation, they may already have testimony that could put him in prison and anyone watching saw a very nervous man trying to conceal SOMETHING.

I was proud of our people today.
