What I have noticed in my few minutes of watching the hearings.

Is that the Republicans are trying their very best to divert attention. They have clearly been schooled by the White House on this one. They are TERRIFIED of being found out.

...is that this administration, as we all knew anyway, is full of incompetent hacks and punks who have nothing but disdain for the democratic process.
Whitaker is the poster boy for the unqualified idiot/punk personified by male and females alike in this horrendous mistake of an administration.

and perform checks and balances over the executive branch..." or different words to that effect. To ram it home to the mouthy, whining Republicans that THIS is what THEY should have done, and this is not personal persecution. It's their JOB.

McCain warned the Republicans that they'd better wake up and realize that Congress does not work for the White House, that they are an equal branch of government. Those words fell on deaf ears.

tRump will survive all the investigations. Not now, not with democratic reps. in charge. Their days of covering for incompetence are over. Had tRump been a dem. the gop would have ripped him to shreds long ago. Since he is "one of their own" they protect him. I wonder who instructs them to protect tRump, McConnell? He got millions from Russia, so he has something to hide.
