Key 2016 supporters of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are working together to organize a house party for Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown when he brings his Dignity of Work tour to the first-primary state Friday evening.
Former New Hampshire House Speaker Terie Norelli and her husband, Allen, are hosting the by-invitation party at their home after Brown launches his two-day tour of the state with a roundtable on family-focused issues at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton.
Norelli was a New Hampshire co-chair for Clintons 2008 campaign and a Clinton delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. In the 2016 race, she was a senior advisor to Clintons campaign and was one of New Hampshire's four women electors who cast the state's votes for Clinton after the general election.
Former state Sen. Burt Cohen is assisting the Norellis in co-hosting the event. Cohen, like Norelli, is a longtime state Democratic activist. He endorsed Sanders in the 2016 New Hampshire primary campaign and remained a member of the Sanders steering committee. He was a Sanders delegate at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
