The non-prosecution agreement AMI has with SDNY prosecutors is contingent upon, among other things, them not committing any crimes.

Were there any prominent politicians that had coordinated propaganda with the enquirer, and also had a grudge against Bezos, that may have been coordinating the effort to blackmail Bezos now?

than to break a deal with SDNY and/or Mueller. Did they miss what just happened to Manafort? The ex-Dep AG on with Maddow last night wasn't sure the emails to Bezos were criminal, but as more people come forward to say AMI threatened them, too, maybe that will change.
