AMI trying to blackmail Bezos over WaPo stories could be a big deal.

Blackmail is very illegal and AMI is a very big company.

Few people know just how much AMI owns.

They own the National Enquirer, but they also own the National Examiner, Star, Globe, US Weekly, Radar, the rights to The Sun (retired), and Weekly World News (retired).

They own a TON of magazines. Just thier collection of Men's magazines includes: Men's Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Men's Journal, and Flex.

They own too many publications to list, because I'm writing on my phone.

This could bring down a media empire.

They will publish the personal photos unless Gavin de Becker and I make the specific false public statement to the press that we 'have no knowledge or basis for suggesting that AMI's coverage was politically motivated or influenced by political forces,'" Bezos wrote in the post.

just had someone on who claims Gavin DeBecker is working on this. Said it doesn't look like Bezos phone was hacked, it's possible a foreign country gathered his phone information.

Trump might be going full Nixon.

cause I'm betting Individual 1 is somewhere in the pic, revenge being the motive. Also because I bet Bezos and De Becker won't be shy about spilling the beans. Though I think it stinks that Bezos was having an affair with his friend's wife.

racketeering? Isn't this a corrupt organization? Isn't the criminal behavior described by Bezos exactly why the RICO Act exists -- to nail everyone involved in a situation like this, not just the front-line people who interact with the victim?
