The day that Akins makes his "one unfortunate word" semi-apology is the same day the Republican Platform Committee (led by Governor Government-Ordered Forced Vagina Probe McDonnell) releases the Platform to outlaw all abortion. The platform does not include ANY exceptions for rape, incest OR the threat to the health of the mother.

They subscribe to faith-based anatomy and physiology. We're heading back to the fucking Middle Ages. Witch trials can't be far behind.

And people wonder why we have so little confidence in congress.
It's also the space committee, does he also think the world is flat?
It's this type of complete fucking ignorance by the people who help to create our laws that just infuriates me.
