Hurricane Isaac looks like it's taking the same path as Hurricane Andrew



That's the projected path of Hurricane Isaac. Looks like it's going to hit the tip of Florida.

Then I remember there was another major hurricane that hit that path



That's where Hurricane Andrew hit in 1992 - that was a nasty Cat5 Hurricane. And although this was an "A" hurricane (usually first of the season), the date range of Andrew was August 16th - 28th

I hope that hurricane takes a hard right and heads out to sea.

Was an odd hurricane that was lined up for us, but then veered West, running right into Louisiana. Of course, I speak of Katrina, that veered until the very last moment.

2. From what I read Tampa doesn't get alot of direct hits

Since it's on the west coast. I mean even if this hits Florida on the path it's going, Tampa is gonna get hit badly but I'd hate to see Homeland Florida get hit again. I still remember Andrew, which was 20 years ago this week and it essentially wiped out Homeland, FL. I hate for that town or anywhere be wiped out like that.
