Facebook Pulls More Infowars Pages: Alex Jones Says He's 'Ready for War'

A Facebook spokesperson told Right Wing Watch that all of 22 pages it removed today were run by people who had previously held administrative roles on the four Infowars-linked pages Facebook removed in August.

“Alex Jones is not an admin on all 22, but all 22 Pages have people administering them who also administered Pages within the 4 we removed in August. All 4 Pages we removed in August had more admins than just Alex Jones, we factored that into our assessment of which Pages violate our recidivism policy,” the spokesperson told Right Wing Watch in an email. On January 23, Facebook announced it had updated its recidivism policy to better prevent banned pages from duplicating in order to circumvent the bans and “continue the same activity.”

<snip>

On Infowars, Jones and his associates lamented the ban and warned that the social media bans Infowars has faced should be treated as a warning to conservatives and dissidents at-large.

“What do we do at this point? Because I’m ready for war,” Jones said on air this afternoon.

As we pointed out in August, the terms of service that Infowars hosted on its own site at the time of its deplatforming would have banned Infowars’ own content if enforced.

To hire lawyers and defend himself. Where is he getting the money?

Perhaps Putin?

I’m betting we can get a company of Green Berets and an M109 battalion out to his house by the end of the day. Little Alex will have to provide his own defense.
