A friend once had a picture of a piggy leaping off of his dock into a small and shallow man-made lake he had on his property. It was really cute. Miss Piggy (his name for her) had a habit of running down the dock and just jumping in the air to get into the water on hot days, right alongside his sons and his dogs. He was able to catch her on film once. He framed the picture and hung it on the wall of his den with his pictures of boys' school photos.

(6,831 posts)I never knew pigs could swim (much less fly). In his picture, you see Miss Piggy about three feet off the deck heading for the lake. When he framed the photo, he put a caption under it which read, "See ? Some pigs can fly. Miss Piggy, Summer 2012."
I think she thought she was just another of his dogs.
Come too think of it, she was smarter than any of his dogs.
