Sisters, I implore you not to let this drop. Everyone of us, either side of the line, understood exactly what this man and those who think like him was saying regarding women's health issues and women in society.

Bottom line is, for me, that he meant what he said and inartfulness was not the issue.

2. Well sort of...This time what was different wasn't what he did

Akin had been pushing these same street myths as truth for a long time.

What happened this time is that the people who heard it including a few members of a political action committee had options other than recoiling in disgust. They repeated the message on social media, where it was plain to everyone outside Akin's MO district that Akin's is an over-the-top pro-life zealot not as smart as most 12 year-olds regarding human sexual function.

Within an hour of the PAC's post calling Akin's foul, his stupidity was spiking on twitter and facebook.

all this drivel is coming from a man with two daughters.
