Well, well, well. Howard Schultz and Russia are business partners.

I was wondering if maybe Schultz was wanting to make a bid for a big Starbucks in the future Trump Moscow Hotel. That would be one explanation for his odd decision to throw his hat in the ring. When I ran across this:

In recent years, Starbucks has been making deals in Russia, where its outlets have proliferated. For all we know, there was a plan to place a Starbucks in Trump’s ill-fated Moscow Trump Tower to match the one in Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. Time for another Steele dossier!

Well, isn't that special?

nothing is too small. For these guys, it's the winning. The globalism. The hobnobbing with other oligarchs. These guys don't recognize country boundaries. They're all in it together. Oligarchs against the little people.

It could also just be a perk...if he wins, he gets the taxes, plus he gets a sweet deal in Russia.

It's just odd that everyone on the Republican side seems to have monetary connections to Russia.

Just a thought. Anything is possible.

Remember when Ivanka took a vacay with her bestie Wendy Deng? That was during Daddy Dearest's presidential campaign. They went to a dacha resort together.

As I explained to an acquaintance just last week, Wendy is a billionaire from China who after various travels is now Vlad Putin's girlfriend.

Oligarchs: ya gotta love 'em.

Walk around China sometime. Russians drink overpriced, burnt coffee too. I’m not a fan of the guy, but I think all Starbucks are nefarious no matter the location.

So, not sure of your point.

The connection with Russia is startling. He is not hoping to become partners with Russia. He IS partners with Russia. A country with influence over him. Not wise for anyone to vote for such a person.

Does anyone know? I refuse to tune in to either but I am interested in whom they—and Putin—prefer.
