Oklahoma City Elementary School Principal Forces 5-Year-Old to Turn Michigan T-Shirt Inside-Out

Meet Cooper Barton, a 5-year-old in Oklahoma City who is being raised a Michigan fan. Cooper wore his Big House t-shirt to Kindergarten and was told by the principal to turn the shirt inside out because it violates the dress code. The dress code in question states that students cannot wear college apparel unless it is for an Oklahoma-based school like OU or OSU. (All pro sports apparel – including Thunder gear – is also prohibited.)

They allow students to wear athletic gear from local college teams, but nothing out of state. This is obviously not a gang issue and more about a ridiculous rule that is inconsistent. If they don't want kids to wear team-specific shirts, they need to ban ALL team-specific shirts - including that of Oklahoma teams.

LA Gangs Trade In Raiders Gear For Dodgers

Why? The Crips have always been blue, so they have a color affiliation. The Latin Angels like the “LA.” The Gangster Disciples may have started in Chicago but they like the “D” in Dodgers to mean Disciples.

any kind of writing on it. Which was the policy of the school my two sons attended.

I happen to think the sports enthusiasm of this country is totally beyond reason. And to allow gear of local teams, but not non-local or professional teams simply reinforces my belief about sports enthusiasm.

Any country that actually wishes to invade this country should simply wait until the next time the Redskins are in the SuperBowl. Trust me, you could invade DC and it would be hours before local authorities would notice.
