Justin Fairfax's political future if Northam gets out of office by physical force.

Governor of Virginia from 2019 to 2026.
Fairfax-D could then run for the US Senate in VA in 2026- he challenges Warner in the Democratic Primary or could run for POTUS in 2024 or 2028.

Fairfax is young and ex-Govs around here make serious money. "Rainmakers" as Larry Sabato calls them. Warner has had some close calls in elections recently but he's at a point where he's pretty well established.

Fairfax's chief concern politically is Levar Stoney who is currently the Mayor (in a shocking election) of Richmond. Both Have really really bright futures.

The question I have is that if Northam doesn't resign, does Fairfax?

Fairfax could offer the violent criminals he put in prison while he was a prosecutor early release if they kidnap Northam and take him to West Virginia. West Virginia has a Gubernatorial Election in 2020, Northam could become carpetbagger Governor of West Virginia- the state that kept electing Robert Byrd. He can serve as Governor in two states for a total of 5 to 9 years. Fairfax becomes Governor of Virginia for 7 years.

Northam should resign now, move to West Virginia and run for Governor of West Virginia.
