I don't know who advised/suggested this pivot to Northam but the end result is disastrous. The photo is bad enough because it's a slap in the face to the AA community. But then to turn on a dime and renege on the initial apology? It illustrates a clear lack of character and honesty. Sorry, but no one's memory is this bad unless you have a cognitive disability.
The man needs to step down.
That being said I have no patience for Republicans pretending to be outraged by Northam's behavior. None, zip, nada. Not until they call for the Racist-in-Chief to step down immediately.
