like Wagner's Ring cycle. The reason the Trump lunacy would work as an opera is that typical opera plots are absurd and over-the-top - lots of sex, violence, intrigue, betrayal and death. And the plots have to be over-the-top to get in all that singing. Maybe the composer could be someone like John Adams (who did Nixon in China), Phillip Glass (Satyagraha), Nico Muhly (Two Boys), or Thomas Adès (The Exterminating Angel, which is super weird). Nothing in my lifetime has been as absurd and over-the-top as the Trump administration. It would be perfect as an avant-garde opera.

There are a few. Rosanne, Kidd Rock, Clint Eastwood, James Woods. Remember the awesome talent he had at his HUUUUUGE inauguration? Me neither.
