about Mr Schultz and the electoral college

2016 proved that it does not matter if someone gets the most votes, the electoral college matters, and it did not matter that trump was 3 millions short. The electors, mostly a bunch of white guys, picked their king. So...considering that the electors are conservative as is, what makes any third party person think they have a chance?

Granted, I would gladly destroy the electoral college, but that is not happening soon.

A different group of people become electors depending on who wins a state. In the highly unlikely event that Schultz won a state, his supporters would be the electors.
