What Amazes Me Is That Trump Has Never Lost His Cool......

in public. He might ramble on while talking or being interviewed. He might lie through his teeth. We always hear that he goes off on tirades while in the WH. However, whenever we see him in public - either being interviewed; holding a campaign event; addressing the MSM; etc - he never loses his cool and goes off in a tirade.

Given the stress he is under with the Mueller investigation and all the people that surround him being indicted or charged and going to jail - he is mostly controlled when in public. Even the meeting he had a couple of weeks ago with Chuck and Nancy - where he took responsibility for shutting down the government - he did that in a reasonably controlled manner.

I would love to see him lose it one of these days and really letting go with a bunch of expletives. A real tirade in public. Not just dressing down CNN's Acosta. I mean a real tirade. I believe he is capable of doing that - but somehow when he's in public he's able to control it. Maybe the lying helps in this case?

I actually think that Twitter is his way of blowing off steam. I can't imagine if he didn't have Twitter at his disposal what he would be like.

His handlers probably remind him every time he steps out to where people are.

But it would be terrific if somebody near quitting would get a tirade or two on their cell phone, then release it within an hour of the end of their last day.

He NEVER got angry in public, but probably went berserk in private. He was just an inveterate liar, arrogant beyond belief, and couldn't have cared less who he hurt to get his way.

He and Trump are very much alike, as far as I can see.

People in his church and at his workplace think he's just the most wonderful guy.

I recently found out (within the last 3 weeks) that he has been in prison on gun charges and some other things for the last two years. If you look up articles in the local paper and read the comments they are filled with his supporters wondering why the damn gubmint is treating him so badly.

He has them so fucking snowed.

He'll be getting out soon. I was kinda hoping he'd die in jail.

And modulating them in service of a performance in pursuit of a concrete goal seems to be quite easy for them. So I don't think you'll see this.

(But yeah. It would be very validating to have that happen.)

He always knows where they are, what images they convey, and the importance of maintaining those specific images.

If he ever went on an unhinged rant on camera, I would start to believe those "This Time, Trump Is Finished!" threads we see roughly every day.

The most confrontational in person I've ever seen him be was with "Chuck and Nancy" in the infamous White House meeting. We've heard about plenty of tantrums behind closed doors, but I'll bet they were never face to face with the people he was angry at.

He was caught and knew it so he feigned outrage and hoped the little girl would wrestle the mic out of Acosta’s hand.

When cornered his reaction is to insult the questioner on a personal level or to pretend to be too outraged to answer the question, or he’ll just point to another reporter (probably a Fox affiliated one) for a new question.

psychopaths are always putting on a highly prepared and polished ‘act’. Trump has been putting on his public actor persona for 70 years. He’s good at it, even though you can see cracks in his ‘costume’ lately.

He also only goes public when he wants to. When he’s prepared and when he’s in control. Have you noticed that when a reporter asks him a question he doesn’t have a prepared answer for he insults them? Typical deflection behavior for sociopaths and psychopaths.

He also insulates himself from the truth by claiming it’s fake news. And he devotes most of his time to watching news outlets who spend all their time fawning over and defending him. In other words he’s truly unaware of what people really think of him. He believed Fox when they lied and hated on Pelosi, so naturally he thought he could manipulate her. This, in itself, shows his supreme lack of knowledge and willfull ignorance and hubris.

Lying is his main modus operandi. It’s what he does and will continue to do till the day he dies, whether that’s in Russia or prison.

If anybody else acted like Trump we would absolutely say that they had "lost their cool". The bar on Trump is set so low that he could literally shit in his hand and throw it at Jim Acosta and the headline would read, "Trump Disgruntled with Media".

If you read read read some more, you'll find plenty of quotes in various articles about how he yells and screams at his staff. One example, Whitaker sweating buckets off his big bald head after being yelled at by Donnie Two Scoops right before the press conference. Another is when a camera caught him throwing things and screaming after Sessions recused himself. If your point is you're surprised he doesn't freak out on camera, dont be. He lives for attention and adoration and screaming at the american public is a bridge too far, even for him.

I'm just amazed by how composed he acts on camera. I don't remember a camera catching him throwing things and screaming after Sessions recused himself. Is there a link to a clip of that anywhere?

Given the pressure he is under and the shots that are taken at him by the talking heads, late night comedians and common people being interviewed about their feelings for him - I'm just surprised that he can control his pent up anger. The Jim Acosta incident was probably the closest he's come to losing it. I'm surprised that more of the WH Press Corps don't push his buttons to get him to explode on camera.

Doesn't look all that cool to me.

As I see it he automatically disqualified himself as a member of the human race altogether, no longer worthy of anyone's respect as long as he exists.

What kind of degenerated pervert would ever be able to treat this piece of crap with respect?

in Trumps living quarters where he might have one of his tirades.

Whenever they are dropping off a bucket or big mac, also drop off/pickup cams when he is out of the room so as not to get discovered later when he goes apeshit seeing himself blowing his top, maybe while rage tweeting on the can.

Then publish the story with link to video in his favorite newspaper, the New York Times.
