Trump: Just call them walls and stop playing political games

Trump on Thursday urged others to "stop playing political games" and refer to his proposed barrier along the southern border as "walls."

"Lets just call them WALLS from now on and stop playing political games! A WALL is a WALL!" Trump wrote in a tweet.

It was unclear to whom the tweet was directed, but it comes after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said this week that a compromise between lawmakers over Trump's demand for a barrier along the southern border doesn't need to include the word "wall."

“It could be barrier. It doesn’t have to be a wall,” McCarthy told reporters, according to PBS.
