But of course we all knew that.
The point I want to make is that during Andrea Mitchell's hour, there were reporters asking Trump questions, mostly about a possible second Shutdown, Stacey Abrams, and attacking Nancy Pelosi, Democrats in general and the Wall..
But what got me was "We are building the wall. I have handed out Contracts over the past 2 weeks." What Contracts? Who are these Contractors? Are they American? Not one Reporter asked a counter question on that lie.
The media needs to investigate those claims.

(10,011 posts)Lawrence ODonnell had a segment last night about a small church that is in the path of the wall. I didnt catch exactly where the church is, but residents in Starr County have already had their land surveyed and have been told that construction of the wall is imminent, including razing their homes where necessary. Families are fighting in court, but Trump is just going ahead with construction without appropriated money or allowing court cases to play out. Some of the families living along the river will end up on the wrong side of the wall, making it extremely difficult to remain living there. So the government may pay for a mile of land but make it impossible for them to continue living in their homes. How are they supposed to afford a new home?
How do you stop this nonsnense if Trump has told contractors just to go ahead with construction and razing peoples homes even if its illegal? We know he doesnt care about the law. Heres an article about Starr County.
