Why the armed FBI raid on Stone? Maybe this.

Roger Stone was arrested by the FBI last week on 7 counts including lying to congress and witness tampering. Stone has been making the media circuit rounds this week to complain about how he was treated. He told reporters, “To storm my house with greater force than was used to take down bin Laden or El Chapo or Pablo Escobar, to terrorize my wife and my dogs … It’s unconscionable.”

In December of 2017, Stone filmed a video with Alex Jones, that may have given the FBI reason to worry. In the segment, Stone and the controversial Infowars host fire a variety of semi-automatic weapons. The video was titled: Roger Stone Prepares For Civil War After Trump Is Removed From Office: LIVE AUTO GUNFIRE.”

Prior to filming the video, Stone told TMZ, “We do not advocate violence or foment violence, but if there is a coup d’etat, if there is an illegitimate unconstitutional effort to remove Donald Trump on trumped-up charges by a biased and partisan prosecutors (sic) or an illegitimate takedown by the 25th Amendment, there will be a civil war in this country.”

Stone appeared on Jones’ show shortly after his arrest. Jones has repeatedly expressed a willingness to take up arms in a fight against Democrats or during a “race war”.

In the video, Stone says, ““The Trump constituency has been awakened and they will not be put to sleep.” He also claims a willingness to use weapons to “defend the constitution.”

While Stone’s rhetoric during the segment was incendiary, he sang a much different tune to reporters this week. The former adviser to President Trump lamented, “I’m 66 years old. I do not own a gun. I do not have a valid passport. I have no prior criminal record. I’m charged with nonviolent process crimes.”

I laugh when someone who only knows less than a hundred people starts acting like they know how the thousands will respond...usually just like they want them to. Trump is taking down Trump. No one can be blamed for the results of his being exposed except Trump. He has already begun rushing back to Putin yet Stone thinks Americans are the traitors for exposing his actions. Another in Hillary's basket of deplorables (boy did she ever get that one right). We are not threatened by these rock throwers especially since the sociopathic idiots are so easily defined...they are the ones still supporting Trump

If a terrorist organization is supporting a suspect, then best to go prepared when you arrest them.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-the-proud-boys-became-roger-stones-personal-army-6

The Proud Boys are a neo-fascist group that glorifies violence against opponents, particularly on the left. Designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the group and its members have been involved in a series of bloody brawls across the country over the past three years, leading to the recent departure of founder Gavin McInnes.

he’s grown tighter with the violent ultra-nationalist group, hiring them as security and participating in the group’s videos—even repeating its slogan.

Obviously, such destruction could have been (and probably was, frankly) being done prior to his arrest last Friday. He's had months to prepare for it, but I seriously believe that the SP probably had already obtained much of this information long prior to his actual arrest. This investigation has been ongoing for nearly two years. I don't doubt that there may have been some concern that he's a known owner of multiple weapons, some of them automatic, but I don't believe they had any more concern for this physical safety than they would for other white collar arrestees.

Strange that since he's been in the spotlight for some time on now as being next up for his own very personal "time in the barrel." It's mystifying that he didn't try to bug out to Andorra or some nice place on the planet to escape federal prosecution. Why would that be? Oh, yeah. I know. It's because he wanted his arrest to be a spectacle for him to exploit on right wing nut websites and on Fux Spews.
