Chilling in the Midwest

I'm in deep blue Michigan (Ann Arbor, etc...) and really chillling. The air temperature on my outdoor thermometer is =13.2 F right now. Not wind chill and the wind is blowing.

This is not normal folks. The jet stream has been disrupted. I know that weather happens but this has happened twice or three times in the last three years. University of Michigan is closed two days in a row and the University NEVER closes. This ain't weather. This is a fucking disrupted jet stream.

We've fucked up the Earth's climate and now we have to deal with the consequences.

God, if she exists, help us!

only -2 with a wind chill of -18. Really not much more than we used to get but have not for a long time. The oddest thing for us here is this happens and is immediately followed by temps in the upper 50's for a few days. This is not normal.

I farm and work outside so this is tolerable for me but I am not trying to get to a job that requires me to look good. I look like a fat snowman and that is fine but when I think of the times I have to go somewhere not dressed for those temps I cringe. Take care all of you in the much, much, much colder area. I am just trying to figure out how Kansas is no longer the mid West. When did that happen? LOL
