Drivers in Canada play hockey while stuck on highway

https://abc30.com/sports/drivers-in-canada-play-hockey-while-stuck-on-highway/5112362/

Drivers in Quebec, Canada who were stuck on a highway due to a 50-car pileup made use of their time by playing a game of pick-up hockey.

Police had blocked off the icy road while crews cleared away the wreckage.

The impromptu hockey game seemed to be the best way to pass the time until the highway was reopened.

but I don't drink soda or eat fried foods. I do have fried oysters maybe once a year. But never eat eat fries or onion rings or have more than a hamburger a month.

Getting older requires budgeting risks.

Don't drink soda either - haven't eaten red meat or pork since 1979. I just stopped eating them one day. I do eat seafood and bird.

there's a great janga soup in some spots of the island.
Way back when, some neighbors and I used to walk our dogs in the St Andrew hills alongside the Hope River on Sundays, and as we got to know the young men, they'd give us a bag with anywhere from three to five pounds. That was quality food back in those student days

Once, in Whitehorse YT, it was 27 below but 22 above here! We didn't mind Whitehorse (VERY neat town) but weren't sorry to get home.

Cold is always relative - humidity level is a biggie, wind is a biggie - here, it's humidity at damn near zero and no wind, so getting out is actually fun.

Layers, layers, layers no matter how "puffy and stupid" (our kid's words) works!
