Starbucks branches currently operate in 9 Russian cities. You can find Starbucks in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Sochi, Yaroslavl, Ekaterinburg, Tyumen and Samara, according to the company's Facebook page.
And as we have found out recently, Putin controls who does business in Russia and how they do it.

(32,773 posts)... it will be because of his policies, not because he's doing business in Russia. For all we know those Starbucks stores in Russia are part of a franchise operation anyway. (We don't know that he owns them.) The chance of him becoming our Democratic Party candidate is statistically -zero- and that's why I will not vote for him.

He can't be stupid enough to put the 8500+ US stores at risk to save the 9 in Russia. Respectfully, I would say his store clientele leans left so he's got a lot more to lose at home than gain abroad.
