Contact info for Starbucks to give your opinion on CEO Howard Schultz running for Pres:

I suggest everyone call and email to state that it would be a terrible idea for Schultz to run as an independent because this would hand victory to Trump, just as Nader handed victory to Bush.

You might suggest he not run. Or if he feels he must, run as a Dem in the primary and support whoever wins the primary.

The stakes are too high - the very future of our democracy -- for an independent to run a vanity campaign that hands the presidency off to an insane bigot in the pocket of a foreign government.

If you are a regular Starbucks customer, you may wish to suggest that you will no longer be patronizing Starbucks if Schultz runs as an independent. If he knows his business will be hurt by receiving many such requests, he's not likely to run in my view.

Here are the email and phone contacts:

Note on the email, you have to choose a dept. I chose investor relations -- get them worried about their bottom line.

I am not sure they have any power over him.

The only real threat to him through Starbucks is perhaps to his wealth. That is assuming he still owns a lot of stock

But the 30 seconds it took me to send a quick note threatening boycott is worth the time.

----on edit: I left out the part about never buying coffee from their overpriced stores in the first place--
