12. We know he doesn't understand any of it

He could hire people who do understand it, but that takes time and money. Judging by what we know so far about what he has done, he obtained only the bare minimum information. I mean, look at how he got them to construct various model wall sections. He's already looking toward the end without considering any of the prerequisite studies. I don't even know (though I highly doubt) if he consulted with any scientists about the ecological effects. Now we have agencies screaming at him that the damned wall will disrupt the butterflies. And we know about that only because the wall with cut directly through the butterfly preserve. How many unstudied ecosystems will be imperiled? And that is considering building the wall is even possible! He would not care if half of the wall toppled over within a year of its completion.
