Question to all my well informed friends around here.

Suppose Trump shows up on the 29th with some let say.. Capital Police, or some other kind of Capital law Enforcement groups...
This guy is crazy enough to show up and force some type of physical confrontation with Pelosi and the Dems.
I ask: Is my thought feasible? And what are the options for Dems if Trump does confront Pelosi at doors of the Chambers.?

alternatively, pelosi can order all cameras turned off.

or, of course, all the democrats can shout him down.

donnie's nuts, but i can't see him breaking and entering and trespassing all for the hope of a few moments on air in a particular venue.

why wouldn't he just give the speech from one of his rallies, or the senate, or some state legislature or whatever?

or, hell, from the oval office?

Even the Secret Service can't and likely wouldn't even think of trying.

Pull the breakers if need be. What matters most is the audience; if rump doesn't have one / can't reach one....

As an elected officer of the House of Representatives, the Sergeant at Arms is the chief law enforcement and protocol officer of the House of Representatives, and is responsible for maintaining order in the House side of the United States Capitol complex.

The Sergeant at Arms, serves as a member of the U.S. Capitol Police Board, responsible for policy oversight over the Capitol Police Force, and is the chairman of this Board in alternating years. As Sergeant at Arms, Mr. Irving also serves on the Congressional Accessibility Services Board.

Any Republican House Member would likely do that, so it's unlikely that the Sergeant-at-Arms will block his entry into the chamber. But he can't speak from the floor or approach the rostrum without the Speaker's permission.

They like to invade places like Panama and the tiny Caribbean island of Grenada. They avoid invading places they think will shoot back (Iraq was a miscalculation, not an exception), which is why they will never even consider invading Iran or North Korea--or the House chamber with armed cops to bar the entrance.

Please do not lose sight of the following: the fact that deciding against invading Iran or North Korea are two decisions of great common sense is pure coincidence, and not some sudden attack of pragmatism on their part.
