Serena won that match. That foot fault at 5-1, 40-30 in the 3rd set was blatant robbery.
Perhaps Serena's early tournament comments praising Billie-Jean King as she was trying to equal the bigot's record was too much for them. I agree with McEnroe - players should be able to review foot fault calls.
That Serena had hurt her ankle didn't help her recover from that shocking call. Even the spectators were in shock. Her opponent was walking to the net to shake her hand.
Never mind Serena, you are the best ever. Fuck bigots everywhere.
