I believe that, for trump*, getting the money for the wall is the important thing. Not the wall.

He would chalk it up as a victory, and much of that money would probably just sit there, for the duration of his term in office. if it is (fingers crossed) ending in January 2021. Because, let's be realistic. There isn't time, before that, to do much more than the preparation work - you know, grabbing up the land of private property owners, getting "bids" from his Russian friends and their associates, etc. If he is a one term nightmare (fingers crossed) the next POTUS will be a Democrat who will likely find better uses for the bulk of that money. IF he hasn't already squandered it. I have no doubts that he sees this as the nation giving him a $5,000,000,000+ pre-loaded debit card.

Anyway, that's just my sleep deprived thought, for the morning.

Which is why it’s so critical to defeat him.
What’s very important is to bring down his approval numbers.

A shit sideshow that is further dividing the country, just as Putin might wish, and diverting public attention from republican treason and corruption.

And the republicans are submissively letting the kremlin have its way with the USA through the instrument of the deeply indebted Comrade Dirty Donny, the eminently deceitful and ignoble republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief & Korrupt Kaos Kindler (R).
