Notice how quiet he’s been about polling for the last month. Previously he was always boasting about his numbers even if — especially if — it was totally untrue.

When their support for Trump endangers their jobs they might stand up to him.

be doing what Ryan did and drop out. McConnell has been a big obstacle in this fight to open the government. His approval is 25%. Amazing that tRump's approval is so high. I wonder WHO they ask?

I can't decide. Maybe both. McConnell may need a good stretch. Trumpy would never suffer enough. The man's pure evil, and he's no victim.

for such an incompetent, hateful, bigoted, vile, vulgar, treasonous putin puppet. WTF is the matter with republicans? His approval rating among them is still over 70%.

a president in the midst of a deep recession might be deeply unpopular for a while, but with the knowledge that they were popular before the bad times and/or might be more popular if things improve.

but donnie has never had majority popularity, has essentially always had majority disapproval, and these numbers are deeply entrenched and unlikely to improve much -- and this is during a time when we're *not* in a recession.

if a democrat dips below 50% approval, the media pounces and calls them unpopular, sometimes deeply unpopular, even at approval numbers 10% higher than where donnie is now. and the disapproval numbers are horrendous. usually there's a hefty chunck of undecideds. not with donnie. well over half the country disapproves, and usually strongly so.

why isn't the media talking about "how can he govern with these numbers"? evidently, because they know that democracy doesn't matter to republicans.
